Mr Efthymios I. Nikolopoulos is currently a Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher in the Institute of Inland Waters of the Hellenic Center for Marine Research in Greece. He received the B.Eng. degree in environmental engineering from the Technical University of Crete, Crete, Greece, and the M.Sc. degree in environmental engineering from the University of Iowa, Iowa. He is currently working towards the Ph.D. degree at the University of Connecticut, Storrs. He is also with the Institute of Inland Waters, Hellenic Center for Marine Research, Anavissos, Greece. His research interests include remote sensing of precipitation, distributed hydrological modeling, error propagation of satellite rainfall through hydrologic models. His research is focused on the evaluation of the use of satellite observations to predict floods in complex terrain. List of Publications Peer-reviewed Journals Nikolopoulos, E.I., E.N.
